Sliotar

Tipperary is the home of both hurling and Dexter cattle so we have married these two historical narratives of the warrior game and the warrior breed, in producing a stunning Sliotar. The original sliotar was black, as is ours, it was only made white in the early 1900’s, as it was easier to see. In 2018, UNESCO granted hurling, Cultural Heritage Status.

Our Dexter sliotar is a pure expression of the link between culture and agriculture.

The sliotar has the Killenure Dexter logo and is hand stitched in the traditional way.
